Time Management for ADHD: Workshop Recap with Vanessa Boudier
Thanks to everyone who joined us for our recent Time Management for ADHD workshop with Vanessa Boudier. It was an insightful, supportive session filled with practical strategies and shared understanding. We’re so glad to have connected with so many of you.
Here’s a quick overview of the key takeaways:
Understanding ADHD and Time Perception
Vanessa explained how people with ADHD often experience time differently, this is sometimes because of what’s known as an interest-based nervous system. Another insightful piece of trivia was Dr. Edward Hallowell’s “Now vs. Not Now” theory, which seemed to really resonate with many attendees.
Time Blocking
One of the most practical strategies shared was Time Blocking which is dividing your day or week into dedicated blocks for specific tasks. Because transitions and overwhelm can be challenging for many of us, this method can reduce decision fatigue and help build a better sense of flow.
Tip: The Estimator feature in Goblin Tools can help you break tasks down and realistically plan each block.
Tools That Can Support ADHD Time Management
- Goblin Tools – A clever set of AI-based tools to help with task planning, organisation, and writing.
- Time Timer App – A visual countdown timer that makes time feel more tangible.
- Habit Trackers – Great for building routines and maintaining momentum.
